SF Climate Week 2026: Energy Summit
SF Climate Week is a decentralized climate gathering organized by and for the community. It is a week full of diverse, multidisciplinary events where organizers and supporters can connect, exchange ideas, and foster climate solutions.
The half-day Energy Summit brings together utilities, policymakers, investors, and technology leaders to explore the biggest challenges facing the energy system today, from rising electricity demand and grid modernization to resilience and electrification. Itron will be attending as a sponsor, presenting the EVSE demo.
Itron's Mike Ting, Senior Product Manager, will also be speaking on the Home Electrification and Affordability panel alongside leaders from PG&E, SPAN and the Building Decarbonization Coalition. This panel will explore how grid-aware devices, advanced meters, and intelligent energy management systems can help coordinate electricity use, enabling widespread electrification while maintaining reliability and potentially avoiding costly upgrades.
