<p style="color: #000000;">Wassim Akhdar is the Director of Grid Management product lines, part of Itron’s Outcomes group. Wassim has over 20 years of experience in the distribution grid monitoring and control space. He has a track record in building solutions that are focused around providing situational awareness, grid reliability, and operational efficiency. Throughout his career, Wassim has taken different leadership roles in project management, engineering, and product management, and have successfully introduced various smart grid solutions that are deployed today at utilities across the world. Prior to joining Itron, Wassim led product management teams in bringing to market flagship ADMS applications (at GE Digital Energy), fault sensing solutions (at Sentient Energy), and grid edge voltage monitoring and control systems (at Varentec Inc.).</p> <p style="color: #000000;">Wassim holds an MBA (Master of Business Administration) Degree and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.</p>
